Ferraris from the early 1960s to the late 1980s.

The beginning of this famous automotive company dates back to 1947. Ferrari's first production car was the '125 sport' commonly known as the '125s'. Enzo Ferrari the founder and creator of Ferrari automobiles was born in February 18th 1898 in Modena, Italy. He devoted his entire life to designing and building sports cars. At the start of his career he was a racing driver and later on went on to become the head of 'Alfa Corse'. Nowadays, Ferrari is famous for making good looking and reliable sports cars commonly known as 'super cars'. In the early 1960s to the late 1980s Ferrari was able to built some extraordinary cars which were capable of winning a lot of sporting events as well as car competitions. Comparatively these cars had powerful engines and they were designed by world renowned Engineers. Some of those cars are represented in the table bellow according to the fastest to reach 60 mph from 0.

This video feature Ken Block in the wild streets of LA - Gymkhana 7.

Specifications of the car used:

  • Make/Model - 1965 Notchback Ford Mustang
  • Engine - 6.7L Ford V8
  • Horsepower - 845hp
  • Transmission - 6 speed Sadev SC90-24
  • Torque - 720 Nm
  • 0-60 mph - 4.5s
  • Top speed - 200mph/322kmph
  • Estimated price - $150,000

The list of mods on this Mustang is endless as it seems. It was built ground up using an old beat up mustang, which is now a masterpiece. It is a result of two years of hard work from the Hoonigan team, ASD motorsports, and RTR who specialises in Mustangs. They incorporated a tubular chassis and a roll cage. The wheels are custom 3 piece wheels (Tarmac R40 Fifteen52) and the tyre are also custom made Pirelli Trofeo Rs. The body is of course made out of carbon fibre giving it the strength and also the light weight advantage. The speciality about this car is that it is the only mustang in the world that feeds all its 845 horsepower into an all-wheel-drive system.

Introduction

Are you into cars? Do you like a bit of old school class? and if you're into both, then you'll find CarsMQ "the blog to read".

Here's a fun fact:

The Volkswagen Beetle was first ordered by Adolf Hitler! He requested Ferdinand Posrche to manufacture a 'Volkswagen', which meant 'people's car' in German. A glimpse at the original sketch by Hitler himself shows extreme similarities with the Bettle that you see today.
