A success story of an unsuccessful car industry - MINI

I am almost sure that there would not be a single car enthusiast that is not familiar with this British icon - Mini

The iconic Mini was first introduced in 1959 and was a massive success story. It was produced for over 40 years and the most popular one of them was Mini Cooper.

Mini coopers won many races and rallies around the world during 60s which made Coopers popular among stars and celebrities.

Later in 1970 the production of the Coopers has come to an end but this did not stop people wanting to own one. There were conversion kits sold to people to turn standard Minis into Coopers.

Rover took over the company in 1990s and started to produce the legend once more. However, again the production has come to an end.

In 2001 December, BMW that took over Rover has presented the new Mini Cooper and within days it gained a great popularity around the world.

Mini is now over 50 years old and still seemed to be popular. Even though the beauty is subjective I must say that many folks out there would prefer the classic Mini over the new ones.
