Nissan revival and GTR come back

The Japanese giant car manufacturer Nissan had difficulties making profit in the past and in 1999 almost went bankrupt.

In a hope to turn things around they assigned Carlos Ghosn as the new CEO of the company. Things were not only about changing how the business run but also about the protection of Nissan's identity and it's people.
Things were not easy for him since he was pretty much an outsider to the company to make changes.

However, he did manage to turn things around and made the business profitable once more by implementing two strategies:

1) Mobilisation of company managers through a set of cross-functional teams

2) Keeping Renault (they formed an allegiance with the French company)  perceptive of the Japanese manufacturer's culture  which allowed the company to adapt a new corporate culture.

It's not the only thing Carlos Ghosn that has changed in Nissan... In fact we could say that he was the main character in the production of the Japanese supercar with a completely new make up and engine.

I would like to finalise this post with a documentary about the production of the GTR.
